SUSSEX WELCOMES EVE CLARKE TO THE TEAM AS JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Sussex County Golf is pleased to welcome Eve Clarke to the team as Junior Development Officer.

Eve started playing golf at the age of 10 through a school program in New Zealand. From there she fell in love with the game, she then went on to represent Tasman at interprovincial level before starting her NZPGA Traineeship. Eve graduated from the NZPGA the year of 2022. In her last 3 months of her traineeship Eve took a job with Golf New Zealand to work as the Participation Coordinator for Tasman Golf.

After several years of relative quiet in the participation space in Tasman Golf, Eve brought a love of the game and fresh energy to her role as the Tasman Participation Coordinator. She worked hard to raise the visibility of golf, delivering a vast range of events and programs that connect with the wider community across Tasman. This showed its successes this year with Tasman Junior Memberships up by 49%.

Eve found her passion for growing the game when she started delivering participation program to Young People and Ladies. Eve is all about creating the whole pathway from start to finish and that each young person’s golfing journey might look different to one another.

Eve is very excited about taking her skills from New Zealand into her new role as the Junior Development Officer with Sussex County Golf. She can’t wait to support areas of growth of participation, County junior events and creating an accessible pathway for players.
