2025 Affiliation Fees
As part of your Club membership subscription you pay an annual affiliation fee which is divided between your County Golf Organisations & England Golf.
This article explains how we use the fee to benefit both you and the game of golf.
The 2025 fees for the three governing bodies are shown below:

- Access to County and National competitions for all.
- A County Card to access discounts on Green Fees nationally
- County Safeguarding support for junior golfer and vunerable adults.
- Access to County Inter-club Knockouts (Scratch, Handicap and Seniors)
- Support and Coaching for elite golfers through our County squads at all ages.
- A WHS handicap to use in social and competitive golf

- Personal liability insurance: Every member is provided with £10m personal liability insurance.
For Clubs
- WHS Handicapping support and training
- Course rating (and re-rating) by County rating teams
- Rules support from out County Referees
- Local Rules reviews
- Rules training for volunteers.
- County investment into clubs to support junior golf.
- Full time members of County staff to support with all Amateur golf issues.
- Manager / Secretary focus groups.
- Handicapping support at a national level
- Protect players and the sport’s reputation - safeguarding and disciplinary in clubs.
- Support golf clubs to get more people playing golf.

Main Affiliation Paperwork
Full Year Return
The main 2025 affiliation return from clubs is aligned with their 2025 renewal date.
The form will need to be completed and signed, with fees returned to us as per the paperwork. Clubs have 60 days to return payment.
Sussex County Golf collect fees on behalf of England Golf and SCLGA.

Mid-Year Affiliation Paperwork
Mid Year Return
The mid-year affiliation return from clubs is 6 months after the club's 2024 renewal date.
The form will need to be completed and signed, with fees returned to us as per the paperwork. These fees are due within 30 days (7 Months from renewal date)
