2nd= 90 pts
3rd= 80 pts
Top 10 finish= 70 pts
Make the cut= 60 pts
Any strokeplay only national event run by a National Governing Body will be eligible for points in the OOM. Please see the list below; if we have missed any, please let us know, and we will add them. This list is not limited.

HOW THE POINTS ARE AWARDED
Points will be awarded per junior open as below.
The best 6 points over the season will count for each player.
1st= 120 pts
2nd= 90 pts
3rd= 80 pts
4th= 70 pts
5th= 60 pts
6th= 50 pts
7th= 40 pts
8th= 30 pts
9th= 20 pts
10th= 10 pts
EVENTS AVAILABLE BASED ON AGE
Sussex County Golf has reviewed the 2024 Order of Merit season. In 2025 you can only earn points from the one Age Group Championships you qualify for starting from January 1st, 2025. We understand that you may be eligible to play in more than one of the categories below; however, this ensures an equal number of events in which all juniors can earn points in 2025. We still encourage you to participate in as many Age Group Championships as possible. Please see the table below for clarification.
11 years and under U12s
12-13 years U14s
14-15 years U16s
16-17 years U18s (Age Group Championship)
At the end of the 2025 season there will be a review for the 2026 season.
