U18s League Match

Sussex Boys U18s played the first league match of the season on the 13th April against Kent and Surrey at Darenth Valley Golf Club.

Results;

Sussex beats Kent 4.5 to 3.5 points

Sussex loss to Surrey 6.5 to 1.5.

Congratulations to Max Martin winning both matches and fighting back from 3 down in one of them. As well as Joe Powell coming back from 1 down 2 to play in both and fighting for a half and a win.

All of the players had to dig so deep and fight for every hole. They all showed a lot of grit and it’s golf we don’t always come out on top. But we learn and we move forward with the learnings. It’s a good start to the season.

We are proud of how the team never leaves a man out there until we are all in regardless of results.
